Our purpose is
to help our East
Tennessee men
and women and
their families
who are serving
in the military
over seas.
Our purpose for
this web site is
Tri-fold. The
first is to
remind East
Tennesseans that
our Military
brothers and
sisters and
their families
are making great
sacrifices in
serving our
country. The
second is to let
East Tennesseans
know what we are
doing to
help our
Military brothers
and sisters and
their families
and to
invite our
community to
help us in
taking care of
their needs.
The third is to
better make
ourselves known
to our soldiers
and their
families so that
if they have
needs which we
have not already
identified, that
we can serve
them as best we
can.
We help them
with things such
as wheelchair
ramps, food
baskets and
flowers for the
deceased ones.
We also have
bought Christmas
gifts for our
military that
are deployed
overseas at
Christmas time.
Our military men
and women from
all over East
Tennessee will
receive a small
box filled with
different little
gifts. Some of
these gifts are
item that they
can not get
overseas, such
as toiletries,
digital cameras,
and various
snacks and
candies.
We hold a
fundraiser once
a year to raise
money to be used
to help our
military
overseas and
their families
waiting here.
Our fundraiser
consists of a
sit down dinner,
speakers,
dancing,
raffles, door
prizes and live
entertainment.
At the
fundraiser we
bring in some of
our military men
and women from
all branches of
the service. We
then honor these
men and women at
the event to
show them how
much they mean
to all of us
here in East
Tennessee.
